ABUS BNC 10m Coaxial Cable Black with Male Connectors

The ABUS BNC 10m Coaxial Cable Black with Male Connectors is a reliable accessory designed specifically for CCTV security camera systems and video surveillance setups. Measuring 10 meters in length, this pre-assembled coaxial cable ensures stable and secure signal transmission between surveillance cameras and recording devices over medium distances. Finished in a discreet black color, it integrates easily into various indoor and outdoor surveillance environments while maintaining a clean and professional appearance.

Advantages

This pre-assembled coaxial cable eliminates the need for manual connector attachment, allowing for quick and straightforward installation right out of the package. Equipped with sturdy male connectors on both ends, it establishes a secure physical and electrical connection with compatible security hardware. The standardized 75-ohm cable resistance guarantees optimal signal integrity and minimal video quality loss, which is essential for continuous monitoring applications. Its robust construction protects the internal conductor from standard environmental interference, ensuring dependable everyday operation for your security network.

Suitable for

• Connecting CCTV security cameras to digital video recorders over a 10 meter distance
• Extending existing video surveillance setups in residential or commercial properties
• Linking analog video components that require standard 75-ohm coaxial connections

This cable may not be suitable for installations requiring a distance significantly longer or shorter than 10 meters, as excess coiled cable can create clutter or signal management challenges, while too short a span requires a different length. It is also not designed for high-voltage power transmission or networking applications that rely on Ethernet cables rather than BNC coaxial connections.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 meters
• Color: Black
• Connector type: BNC male on both ends
• Cable impedance: 75 ohm

To use the cable, first ensure that both your CCTV camera and recording device are powered off to prevent electrical surges. Take one end of the coaxial cable and plug the male BNC connector into the video output port of the security camera, twisting it securely to lock it into place. Route the 10-meter cable carefully along walls, ceilings, or through conduits, avoiding sharp bends, heavy objects placed on top, or pinch points that could damage the internal wiring. Finally, connect the remaining male BNC connector to the corresponding video input port on your recording device and secure the connection before powering the system back on.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your security cameras and recording devices feature compatible BNC video ports
• Measure the required distance between your devices to ensure the 10-meter length is sufficient
• Plan your cable routing path in advance to avoid potential hazards or interference sources

For optimal performance and longevity, route the cable away from high-voltage electrical lines to prevent electromagnetic interference, and avoid sharp 90-degree bends during installation to maintain signal integrity.
