The ABUS TVIP42510 is a compact 2MP (1920x1080) dome IP camera suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Its compact dome design allows ceiling or wall mounting for discreet monitoring. The camera supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for simplified installation and provides good low-light performance down to 0.005 lx, a wide horizontal field of view (111°) and H.265-Plus compression for efficient storage and transmission.

How to use

Mount the mini dome on a ceiling or wall and connect it to a PoE-enabled switch, router or recorder to supply power and network connectivity. Access the camera interface from a PC browser or via a compatible recorder to view the live image and complete initial setup. Configure schedules, motion detection zones, and privacy areas as required. Choose local storage on microSD, or connect the camera to a NAS or recorder for centralised recording.

Usage recommendations

Place the camera to cover entrances or wide areas using its 111° horizontal field of view; enable WDR when monitoring scenes with strong backlight. Use PoE where running separate power is difficult, and select H.265-Plus compression to reduce bandwidth and storage requirements. For mobile alerts, install the ABUS Link Station app; the Pro version provides unlimited mobile access while the Lite version includes limited free streaming.
