USB booster ACT AC6110 10 meter
The ACT AC6110 Active USB Signal Booster Cable extends a USB connection up to 10 meters, allowing peripherals such as webcams, printers, external drives, keyboards and mice to be connected over longer distances. The cable uses USB‑A to USB‑A connectors, supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) with up to 5 Gbit/s data transfer, and includes a DC input for an optional 5V power adapter. The black 10 m cable can be cascaded up to two times to further extend reach while maintaining signal integrity.
The AC6110 preserves USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds across a 10 m run and reduces the risk of signal loss compared with a passive cable of the same length. Its USB‑A to USB‑A configuration is compatible with many host and peripheral devices, and the optional 5V power input supports powered operation where additional current is required. Cascading capability allows two units to be combined for longer extensions when needed.
Connect one end of the AC6110 to the host USB A port and the other end to the USB A plug of the peripheral device. If the connected device requires additional power or the host cannot supply sufficient current, attach a compatible 5V DC adapter to the cable's DC input. For longer distances, connect a second AC6110 in series (cascading) according to the device's guidelines. Ensure both ends are fully inserted and that connected devices are recognized by the computer's operating system.
Use the AC6110 for distances up to 10 m per unit and avoid exceeding the recommended cascade limit of two units. When powering high-draw devices (external drives, some webcams), use the optional 5V adapter to ensure stable operation. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources to minimise interference.
