Description

The ACT AC7049 Dual Monitor Docking Station converts a laptop into a complete workstation using a single USB-C or USB-A 3.2 Gen1 connection. It provides two HDMI outputs for dual-monitor setups, Gigabit Ethernet, microphone and headphone jacks, six additional USB ports and comes with a vertical stand, USB-C/A 3.2 Gen1 cable and power adapter. Integrated DisplayLink® technology enables extended desktop support on both Windows and macOS systems.

Advantages

The docking station supports two HDMI screens (maximum resolution up to 2048 × 1152 per source as stated in the source text) and adds a Gigabit LAN port for wired network speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s. It expands connectivity with six extra USB ports (two USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports on the front and four USB-A 2.0 ports on the rear), and provides separate microphone and headphone jacks. Vertical placement saves desk space while keeping ports accessible; horizontal placement is also possible.

How to use

Connect the docking station to your laptop using the included USB-C/A 3.2 Gen1 cable. Plug in the power adapter to supply the dock.
