Advantages

The flat design of this telephone cable allows for easy installation underneath carpets, along baseboards, or behind furniture, helping to maintain a neat and organized appearance. Its flexibility reduces strain on the ports of connected equipment while maintaining signal integrity. The durable black finish blends seamlessly with most office equipment and home interiors.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop telephones to wall outlets or base stations
• Linking modems and fax machines to telecommunication sockets
• Setting up home office communication networks
• Routing cable connections in limited spaces or under furniture

When it may not be suitable

This cable is not designed for high-speed internet Ethernet networks or structured LAN cabling, as it utilizes RJ-12 connectors rather than RJ-45 plugs. It should also not be used for outdoor installations or industrial environments where exposure to moisture or heavy mechanical stress is present.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 meters
• Connector type 1: RJ-12 male
• Connector type 2: RJ-12 male

How to use

To install the cable, gently insert the male RJ-12 connector into the modular jack of your telephone or telecommunication device until you hear a click. Route the flat cable carefully along the desired path, avoiding sharp bends or pinching, and connect the other end to the wall socket or base unit. Ensure both connectors are fully seated for optimal signal transmission.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your devices utilize RJ-12 connection ports rather than standard RJ-11 or RJ-45 interfaces
• Check the required distance between your devices to ensure the 2-meter length is sufficient
• Confirm whether a flat cable profile suits your installation environment better than a round cable

Usage recommendations: Regularly inspect the cable and connectors for signs of physical wear or dust accumulation. Avoid pulling the cable forcefully during disconnection; always press the locking tab on the connector plug before removal.
