Telephone cable ActiveJet TC1000S-100M-B, 100 m, black
ActiveJet TC1000S-100M-B is a 100 m black telephone cable designed for wired telephone and PABX connections. The cable offers a continuous run suitable for home or office telephony installations, extension lines and internal wiring. Constructed with four stranded conductors, this cable supports line extension, wall-to-equipment cabling and structured telephony wiring where a longer reach and flexible installation are required.
The cable’s 100 m length reduces the need for joins or intermediate splices in long runs, simplifying installation and maintaining signal continuity. Four stranded conductors provide flexibility for routing around corners and through conduits while preserving mechanical durability. The black outer sheath offers discreet appearance for visible runs and basic protection against abrasion and environmental exposure typical for indoor installations.
Plan the cable route considering required length and any obstacles. Measure and cut the cable to the needed run, leaving additional slack for connections and service loops. Strip the outer sheath and separate the four stranded conductors for termination to telephone jacks, plugs or PABX connection blocks according to the wiring standard in use. Avoid sharp bends and secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable ties to prevent strain on terminations. If running through walls or conduits, use grommets or bushings to protect the sheath where it passes through openings.
For best performance, avoid running the telephone cable parallel and in close proximity to mains power cables to reduce potential interference. Use proper termination tools and test continuity and line quality after installation. Store the unused portion coiled without tight loops and protect from prolonged exposure to humidity or direct sunlight.
