Loose leaf green tea Ahmad Gunpowder Green 100 g — pure Chinese tea leaves
Ahmad Gunpowder Green is a loose-leaf green tea presented in a 100 g pack, made from tightly rolled Chinese tea leaves. The rolling method creates compact pellets that unfurl during infusion, releasing a robust, slightly smoky flavor and a bright green liquor. This tea provides a straightforward green-tea profile suitable for daily preparation, blending, or chilled beverages, and contains natural antioxidants typical of unoxidized tea leaves.
The compact, pellet-shaped leaves preserve aroma and freshness, reducing the exposure of the leaf surface to air and helping maintain a consistent flavour over time. Ahmad Gunpowder Green steeps quickly and yields a clear cup with a brisk taste and mild smoky notes. Its loose-leaf form allows precise control of strength and infusion time, and the 100 g pack is convenient for regular household use or for experimenting with blends and cold-brew recipes.
Measure 2–3 g of Ahmad Gunpowder Green per 200 ml of water. Heat water to between 75 and 85°C; avoid boiling water to prevent bitterness. Place the leaves in an infuser or teapot, pour the heated water over them, and steep for 1–3 minutes according to desired strength—shorter for a lighter cup, longer for a fuller taste. Strain the leaves and serve. The same leaves can often be re-steeped once or twice with a slightly longer infusion to extract remaining flavors.
To reduce astringency, use lower water temperature and shorter steeping time on the first brew. For iced tea, brew at the stronger end of the recommended infusion time, cool quickly, then dilute with chilled water or serve over ice. Store the tea in a cool, dry place in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
