OG-Hi5-4K-Plus is an openGear card that converts 3G-SDI (single, dual or quad link) to HDMI 2.0 for 4K/UltraHD/2K/HD/SD sources, supporting up to 4096×2160 at 60p when monitoring to HDMI 2.0 displays. The card generates HDR metadata according to HDMI v2.0a / CTA-861.3 and supports Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG). It is designed for use in high-density openGear 2RU frames and is compatible with AJA’s OG-X-FR frame. DashBoard software for Windows, macOS and Linux provides remote control and monitoring over a PC or local network.

Install the OG-Hi5-4K-Plus into a compatible openGear 2RU frame and connect the SDI source(s): single HD-SDI for HD content, Dual or Quad 3G-SDI for 4K/UltraHD inputs using two-sample interleave (2SI) or square division (Quadrant) mapping. Connect an HDMI 2.0 display to the HDMI output for monitoring. Use the DashBoard application over the frame Ethernet connection to configure input mapping, HDR options and audio routing. For HFR 50/60p signals, ensure the connected HDMI display supports HDMI 2.0 and the required frame rates.
