Ajax DoorProtect White is a wireless, battery-powered magnetic door and window opening detector designed to monitor the opening and closing of doors and windows in homes and offices. The compact device uses high-quality reed switches and two-way wireless communication with the Ajax Hub to provide reliable contact monitoring without wired installation. It includes two magnets, a pre-installed CR123A battery and supports connection of an external wired detector for expanded coverage.

How to use

Install the main unit and magnet on the closed door and frame using the SmartBracket mount without disassembling the body. Choose the appropriate magnet (small or big) to maintain required separation distance: up to 1 cm with the small magnet or up to 2 cm with the big magnet. Connect the detector to the Ajax Hub with a single click in the Ajax app. If needed, connect an external wired detector to the additional input and configure response intervals and periodic testing from 12 to 300 seconds.

Usage recommendations

Place the detector indoors within the specified operating temperature and humidity ranges. Test the connection quality and detection area remotely after installation. Replace the CR123A battery before the end of service life if battery level alerts appear in the Ajax app. Avoid installing near strong sources of electromagnetic interference to reduce risk of jamming.
