Photoelectrical reflection detector Ajax FireProtect Jeweller Wireless Black
FireProtect is a wireless photoelectric reflection fire detector with an integrated temperature sensor that continuously monitors a room and alerts immediately to smoke or sudden temperature spikes. The detector can function as part of an Ajax security system via the Jeweller radio protocol or operate independently, triggering its built-in siren when danger is detected. The device features an installed battery for immediate use and a compact black housing measuring 132 × 132 × 31 mm.
The FireProtect detector registers smoke using a photoelectric chamber and monitors abrupt increases in temperature. It performs regular self-tests of the smoke chamber and notifies when cleaning is required. The device supports authentication to prevent forgery, detects jamming while using encrypted communication channels, and signals tampering attempts. It can alert locally with a built-in siren and simultaneously indicate alarm together with other detectors.
Install the detector on a ceiling or high on a wall using the SmartBracket mount; the device is ready to use out of the box because the battery is already installed. To integrate with an Ajax Hub, add the detector in the Ajax mobile application with a single click. If used standalone, place the detector in a recommended room and verify that nothing obstructs the sensor aperture. Periodically test the detector according to local safety practices and the Ajax app prompts.
Place the detector on the ceiling or high on the wall away from fans, air conditioners, windows and doors to avoid false alarms. Clean the smoke chamber when the device notifies of dust accumulation. Check battery status and perform regular self-tests; follow manufacturer instructions for placement and maintenance to ensure reliable operation.
