Ajax Hub 2 Wired & Wireless Black alarm control panel, 868 MHz, AES, 110–240V, Li‑Ion
Ajax Hub 2 is a wired and wireless security control panel in black that coordinates Ajax detectors and peripherals to monitor doors, windows, fire and flood risks, and to notify users and monitoring stations of incidents. It supports photo alarm verification with MotionCam detectors, transmits alarms via Ethernet and cellular networks, and runs the Malevich real-time operating system for regular over‑the‑air updates.
Hub 2 provides multi-channel connectivity (Ethernet plus 2G/3G/LTE) with automatic switching and four antennas to ensure reliable alarm delivery. It supports two proprietary radio protocols to separate command traffic and image transfer, offers a long radio range with support for range extenders, and includes a built‑in backup battery for continued operation during power loss. Management is handled through secure mobile and desktop apps, and the hub allows automation via scenarios to reduce manual intervention.
If you require an enclosure with a high ingress protection rating for outdoor or exposed installations, this model has an IP50 rating and is intended for indoor use. Very large enterprises with needs for more than 100 connected security devices or advanced third‑party integrations beyond Ajax platform capabilities may require a different product or additional infrastructure.
Install Hub 2 indoors, connect it to mains power and the Internet via Ethernet, insert SIM cards for cellular backup, and add the hub to the Ajax app by scanning the QR code. Configure devices, users, groups and automation scenarios through the app. MotionCam detectors provide photo verification on alarm; images are transmitted using the dedicated image protocol. Routine management, arming/disarming, and monitoring can be done from smartphones or PCs, locally or remotely through the Ajax Cloud.
For reliable operation, mount the hub indoors in a central location, ensure stable power and good cellular signal if using SIM cards, test radio coverage before finalising device placement, and keep the system firmware up to date via automatic OTA updates.
