Compact encrypted contactless key fob for Ajax KeyPad Plus, operating at 13.56 MHz. The key fob allows quick access to the security system: to disarm or change modes present the Tag to the reader on the keypad. The device uses copy-protection and does not require a password, user account or direct access to the Ajax app to operate at the keypad.

Key fob Ajax AJAXTADBL employs DESFire® contactless technology based on ISO 14443-A, providing 128-bit encryption, authentication and copy protection for secure user identification. One Tag can be bound to up to 13 hubs, enabling use across multiple locations. The fob is compact and lightweight (45 × 32 × 6 mm, 7 g) and is compatible with KeyPad Plus (SKU 2607883WH1 / 2607783BL1). System administrators can manage names and access permissions in the Ajax app and view all access events in the event log.

How to use

Open the Ajax app, go to the KeyPad Plus settings and follow the prompts to add a new Tag. To operate the system at the keypad, present the key fob to the reader — the keypad will identify the Tag via DESFire® and apply the assigned access permissions. In the app you can name each Tag, assign or revoke permissions and review the event log to see when the security mode was changed and by whom.

Usage recommendations

Store and use the key fob within the specified temperature and humidity ranges. Do not expose the fob to strong mechanical stress or liquids. If access must be restricted, revoke or limit Tag permissions in the Ajax app immediately.
