Contactless encrypted key fob for Ajax KeyPad, operating at 13.56 MHz. The Tag provides touchless, copy-protected identification for convenient and secure access control. It is compatible with KeyPad Plus and can be linked to multiple hubs to grant the same credential access across sites.

Advantages

The key fob uses DESFire® technology (ISO 14443-A) to provide 128-bit encryption, copy protection and secure authentication, reducing the risk of cloning or interception. One Tag can be bound to up to 13 hubs, and access permissions can be configured or revoked in the Ajax app. Connection to the system is carried out simply by presenting the Tag to the KeyPad reader.

How to use

To add the Tag to an Ajax system, open the Ajax app, go to the keypad settings and present the key fob to the KeyPad Plus reader. To disarm the system, simply present the Tag to the keypad reader — no password or app sign-in on the presenting device is required. In the app, assign a name to the Tag and configure user access rights as needed.

Usage recommendations

Use the Tag within the specified operating temperature and humidity ranges and keep it free from physical damage. Manage and revoke access permissions centrally via the Ajax app and distribute Tags only to authorized persons.
