Internal Power Cable Akasa AK-CBPW20-15 0.15m
The Akasa AK-CBPW20-15 is a 0.15 m internal power cable that converts a 4-pin Molex connection to a PCI‑Express 6+2 pin connector, allowing a PCIe video card to be powered from a Molex-equipped power supply. Its short length makes it suitable for compact builds and tight internal routing while the connectors provide a straightforward way to connect legacy Molex leads to modern PCIe graphics cards.
This adapter supports both 6‑pin and 8‑pin PCIe power connections thanks to its 6+2 pin design, offering flexibility when connecting various graphics cards. The compact 0.15 m length reduces cable clutter inside the case. Durable connectors ensure stable power delivery for reliable operation without the need to replace the existing power supply.
Turn off the PC and disconnect it from mains power. Plug the Molex 4‑pin connector into an available peripheral (Molex) socket from the power supply, then attach the 6+2 pin PCI‑E connector to the graphics card's power input. If the card requires a 6‑pin input, leave the additional 2‑pin portion detached; if it requires an 8‑pin input, combine the 6 and 2 pins. Ensure connectors are fully seated before powering the system.
Use this adapter only within the power limits of your power supply and the graphics card. Verify that the Molex circuit can supply sufficient current for the GPU; if unsure, consult the PSU or GPU documentation or use a PSU with native PCIe connectors for high‑power cards.
