Electric cable AKS 3 x 1.0 mm² rubber-insulated OMYp 300V, 25 m reel
AKS rubber-insulated electrical cable 3 x 1.0 mm² (OMYp) on a 25 m reel is a flexible power cable rated for 300 V. The construction uses three conductors with rubber insulation and a durable outer sheath designed for improved flexibility and resistance to oil and weathering. Supplied on a compact 25 m reel, the cable is intended for portable connections, light machinery and temporary outdoor installations where a flexible, oil-resistant conductor is required.
The cable offers a balance of flexibility and mechanical durability due to rubber insulation and a robust outer layer, enabling easy handling during deployment and retraction from the reel. Rated for 300 V and built with three separate insulated conductors, it supports standard single-phase portable power connections while resisting exposure to oil and moderate outdoor conditions. The 25 m reel format simplifies storage and transport and reduces the time needed to measure and cut required lengths on site.
Unwind the required length from the reel and secure the reel to prevent unwinding during installation. Strip the outer sheath and individual conductor insulation only where connections are to be made, following local electrical codes and safety practices. Connect the three conductors to appropriate terminals: live, neutral and protective earth where applicable. Ensure connections are tight and protected with suitable connectors or junction boxes rated for the environment. After installation, neatly coil remaining cable on the reel for storage.
Do not use the cable where continuous immersion or prolonged exposure to aggressive chemicals is expected. For fixed permanent installations or higher voltage applications, select a cable with appropriate insulation and certification. Inspect the cable before each use for cuts, cracks or damage to the insulation, and replace if the sheath or conductors are compromised.
