Power cable Akyga AK-AG-01A — 1.5 m, Power plug type G to IEC C13
Akyga AK-AG-01A is a 1.5 m mains power cable with a UK-style Power plug type G (BS1363) on one end and an IEC C13 connector on the other. Rated for 250 V input, this cable provides a standard connection between British wall outlets and equipment with IEC C13 inlets such as desktop PCs, monitors, printers and UPS units. The lead includes a built-in fuse to protect against excessive current and is suitable for use in office and home environments where a reliable kettle-lead style connection is required.
The cable combines a BS1363 plug and an IEC C13 connector to deliver compatibility with a wide range of computer power supplies and peripherals. A 1.5 m length balances reach and cable management for typical desk and workstation setups. The integrated fuse in the BS1363 plug provides an additional safety layer against overloads. Construction conforms to the expected form factor for kettle leads, ensuring straightforward, tool-free connection and replacement of existing cords.
Insert the BS1363 plug firmly into a compatible UK wall socket and connect the IEC C13 connector to the device's power inlet. Ensure the cable is routed to avoid sharp bends and contact with hot surfaces. Before connecting, verify that the device's rated voltage and current requirements are compatible with a 250 V mains supply and that the fuse rating in the plug is suitable for the device. Replace the cable if the insulation or connectors show signs of damage.
Use the cable for indoor applications only, avoid exposure to moisture, and do not modify the connectors. For optimal safety, use with devices whose power requirements fall within the cable and fuse ratings and perform periodic visual inspection for wear or damage.
