Universal Other Akyga AK-CA-07 Computer Case
The Akyga AK-CA-07 is an adapter cable that converts a 6-pin PCI-E power connector into a 6+2-pin PCI-E input, enabling connection of next-generation graphics cards to existing 6-pin PCI-E power leads. The 20 cm length provides flexibility when installing graphics cards in mid or large form-factor PC cases and acts as a plug-style adapter to extend compatibility without replacing the original power wiring.
This adapter allows older 6-pin PCI-E power cables to be used with modern 6+2-pin graphics cards, reducing the need for additional PSU upgrades. Its compact design and 20 cm cord simplify cable routing inside the chassis and support straightforward plug-and-play installation. The adapter is lightweight and suitable for builds where a short extension or conversion is required.
Turn off and unplug the power supply before connecting the adapter. Insert the existing 6-pin PCI-E power plug from the PSU into the adapter’s 6-pin input, then attach the 6+2-pin output connector to the graphics card’s PCI-E power socket. Ensure the 2-pin segment is locked in place when a full 8-pin connection is required. After secure connections, restore power and verify that the system and GPU power up correctly.
Use this adapter only as a connector conversion or short extension; it does not increase the PSU’s available power. Do not use the adapter if the combined power draw of the graphics card exceeds the capacity of the original 6-pin cable or the power supply. Regularly inspect connectors for damage or overheating and discontinue use if any abnormalities appear.
