Internal SATA III cable Akyga AK-CA-27, 0.5 m, red, female connectors
Akyga AK-CA-27 is a 0.5 m internal SATA III cable with female-to-female connectors, designed for connecting SATA storage devices inside a PC. The cable supports SATA III data transfer standards and is intended for short internal connections between SSDs, HDDs or optical drives and the motherboard. Supplied as a single red cable, it provides a compact routing option where space is limited or where a tidy internal layout is required.
Supports SATA III specification for up to 6 Gbps data transfer rates, enabling compatibility with modern SSDs and HDDs. The 0.5 m length reduces excess slack inside the case and simplifies cable management. Female-to-female connectors provide a standard, tool-free connection to SATA device and motherboard ports. The red colour makes the cable easy to identify among other internal wiring.
Power off the PC and disconnect it from the mains before installing the cable. Align the keyed SATA connector with the device port and press gently until the connector seats; repeat for the motherboard port. Ensure the cable is routed to avoid tight bends or contact with moving parts such as fans. After connecting both ends, restore power and verify that the drive is recognised by the system BIOS or operating system.
For reliable performance, use this cable for internal, short-distance SATA connections only. Avoid excessive bending or pulling on the cable and keep it clear of sharp edges and high-heat components. If you encounter intermittent device detection, reseat both connectors and check for secure seating on the drive and motherboard ports.
