SATA to USB-A Adapter Akyga AK-CA-86, USB 3.0, 30 cm cable
SATA to USB-A Adapter Akyga AK-CA-86, USB 3.0, 30 cm cable
The Akyga AK-CA-86 SATA to USB-A adapter provides a simple plug-and-play solution for connecting SATA storage devices to a computer via a USB 3.0 interface. With a 30 cm cable, the adapter supports fast data transfer between desktop or laptop systems and 2.5"/3.5" SATA HDDs, SATA SSDs and SATA optical drives for tasks such as data migration, backup, diagnostics and temporary external use without internal installation.
The adapter uses USB 3.0 to offer high-speed data transmission while maintaining backward compatibility with USB 2.0 ports. Its compact inline design and 30 cm cable length make it convenient for desktop and portable use without adding bulk. The product supports plug-and-play operation, enabling quick access to internal drives for cloning, file recovery or diagnostics without requiring tools or opening the computer case.
Connect the SATA connector of the adapter to the drive's data and power ports, then plug the USB-A connector into a computer USB port. For most 2.5" SSDs and HDDs the adapter is powered via the USB port and becomes immediately available in the operating system as an external drive. If a 3.5" drive or certain high-power devices require extra power, connect an appropriate external power source before accessing the drive. Use standard file manager tools or disk utilities to copy, clone or inspect data.
When performing data transfer, cloning or recovery, use USB 3.0 ports on the host computer for optimal transfer speeds and ensure stable power for larger 3.5" drives. Handle drives on a static-free surface and safely eject the device from the operating system before disconnecting to prevent data loss.
