Power Supply Akyga AK-L1-150 12V 12.5A 150W
The Akyga AK-L1-150 is a 150W LED power supply that delivers a stabilized 12V DC output with a maximum current of 12.5A. Designed for indoor LED lighting and low-voltage electronic devices, it accepts a wide input range of 100–265V AC and is housed in a compact grey casing measuring 97 × 199 × 42 mm. The unit meets RoHS sustainability standards and is supplied as a single piece. The built-in potentiometer enables fine output adjustment within the 11–15V DC range, and the design supports powering two separate circuits simultaneously when required.
The power supply provides consistent DC output and a broad input voltage range, making it compatible with different mains supplies. Its 12.5A current capacity supports medium-power LED installations and other devices requiring 11–15V DC. The compact form factor simplifies installation in constrained spaces, while RoHS compliance ensures reduced hazardous substance content. The adjustable output via potentiometer allows precise matching to specific LED modules or electronic loads.
Install the power supply in a well-ventilated indoor location free from excessive dust and moisture. Connect the AC mains input to the designated input terminals following local electrical codes and ensuring the unit is properly earthed if required. Use the DC output terminals to connect LED strips or other 12V devices, observing correct polarity. If necessary, adjust the output voltage with the built-in potentiometer to reach the required operating voltage between 11 and 15V. When powering long LED strips, consider using parallel feed points or separate runs to reduce voltage drop.
To match the power supply to an LED strip, multiply the strip length (m) by the strip power (W/m) and choose a supply with at least a 10% power margin. For example, a 6 m strip at 4.8 W/m requires 28.8 W; a 150 W unit provides ample capacity for longer runs or multiple circuits. Avoid installing the unit in sealed enclosures without ventilation and ensure proper wiring and fusing according to local electrical standards.
