HDMI female wall/box connector Alantec MKA-HDMI-B White
HDMI female wall/box connector Alantec MKA-HDMI-B White
Alantec MKA-HDMI-B is a white HDMI female wall/box connector designed for installation into standard keystone jack openings in wall plates or mounting boxes. It provides a reliable female HDMI interface for routing high-definition video and multi-channel audio signals between source devices and displays. The compact plastic housing and straight female connector enable tidy cable termination and a secure mating point for HDMI male cables in residential and commercial AV setups.
The connector features two gold-plated 19-pin contacts to maintain signal integrity and reduce corrosion over time. Its keystone-compatible shape allows easy snap-in installation into standard wall plates and modules. The straight HDMI female port provides a stable, low-profile connection point while the white plastic finish blends with light-coloured plates and interiors. The unit is suitable for in-wall or surface-mounted box installations where a clean, accessible HDMI termination is required.
Insert the module into a compatible keystone opening in a wall plate or mounting box until it snaps into place, ensuring the front face is flush with the plate surface. Route the HDMI cable to the installation point and connect a male HDMI plug to the female port. Verify signal transmission by powering connected devices and testing audio/video output. For in-wall installations, follow local electrical and building codes and use appropriate cable-rated HDMI cable where required.
Use gold-plated HDMI cables and avoid excessive bending near the connector to preserve contact integrity. For concealed or permanent installations, choose in-wall-rated HDMI cable and consider strain relief or cable clamps in the mounting box. Periodically inspect the connector for dust or debris and clean contacts gently if needed.
