Crimping tool Alantec NI020 cable crimper Black Blue
The Alantec NI020 cable crimper Black Blue is a manual crimping tool designed for cutting, stripping and crimping 4-pin RJ11, 6-pin RJ12 and 8-pin RJ45 modular plugs. The tool combines a parallel crimping mechanism with a locking feature and an energy-saving lever to deliver a consistent, precise crimp. Integrated length cutter and stripping knife accept cable jackets up to 6 mm and 12 mm, enabling end-to-end preparation and termination of network and telephone cables in one compact implement.
The parallel crimping action ensures uniform pressure across connector contacts for reliable terminations, while the lock keeps the tool closed for safe storage. The energy-saving lever reduces hand fatigue during repetitive work. Built from durable materials with an ergonomic handle profile, the Alantec NI020 offers long service life and comfortable handling. Its black and blue finish provides clear visual identification in a toolkit.
Prepare the cable by measuring and cutting the required length with the integrated length cutter. Use the stripping knife to remove the jacket to the recommended length for the connector type, exposing the conductor wires. Arrange the wires in the correct order, insert them fully into the modular plug, and then place the plug into the appropriate crimping slot. Squeeze the handles evenly until the parallel crimping mechanism completes the termination and the lock engages. If necessary, trim any excess conductor beyond the plug tip using the cutter.
For consistent results, follow the wiring standard required for your installation (for example, T568A or T568B for Ethernet), verify conductor order before crimping, and perform a continuity or network cable test after termination. Store the tool with the lock engaged and keep the stripping knife clean to preserve cutting performance.
