The Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar AP1311 (OAW-AP1311-RW) is a high-performance indoor wireless access point with dual-band 802.11ax (Wi‑Fi 6) radios for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. It integrates an omni-directional antenna, a dedicated full-band scanning radio and a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) radio. Connectivity includes two 1 Gbps uplinks, one 1 Gbps downlink, RS-232 Console/Modbus IIoT, USB and 48 V DC power support. AP mounting hardware is sold separately. Not for use in the US, Egypt, Israel or Japan.

The OmniAccess Stellar AP1311 delivers improved throughput, increased client capacity and more efficient airtime allocation using 802.11ax features such as OFDMA, DL MU‑MIMO and 1024‑QAM. Its integrated scanning radio enhances security and RF optimization while the Bluetooth/Zigbee-capable radio enables location services and building automation. How to use

Mount the AP using a compatible mount ordered separately and connect power via the 48 V DC input or supported PoE-enabled uplink. Connect one or both gigabit Ethernet uplinks to your network core for redundancy or load sharing. Use the console/Modbus interface for IIoT or serial management tasks and the USB port for supported peripherals or local configurations. Configure SSIDs, security (WPA2/WPA3), VLANs and QoS through the OmniAccess management platform or supported controller to enable segmented, secure wireless access and to tune RF parameters.

Usage recommendations

Place APs to provide overlapping coverage for client roaming while avoiding co-channel interference; enable the dedicated scanning radio and centralized RF optimization to maintain performance and security. Do not deploy this model in the US, Egypt, Israel or Japan per product restrictions.
