Analog telephone Alcatel T56
The Alcatel T56 is an analog corded telephone with a contemporary design that provides basic telephony functions for home or office use. It features a clear numerical display that shows caller ID, date and time in idle mode, and call duration. The unit is line-powered and requires no battery. The phone includes speakerphone with three volume levels, 4 direct memory keys (M1–M4), and 10 two-touch speed dials for quick access to frequent contacts.
The T56 offers caller identification and a call log of the last 68 incoming calls for easy call-back. Its handsfree speakerphone supports convenient hands-free conversations with adjustable volume. Line-powered operation eliminates the need for batteries and reduces maintenance. The phone supports both freestanding and wall mounting and has a compact, black design that fits typical residential and small office environments.
Connect the phone to an analog telephone line and place it on a desk or mount it on the wall according to the mounting instructions. Use the numeric keypad to dial numbers or press direct memory and speed-dial keys to call stored contacts. During a call, activate the speakerphone to converse hands-free and adjust the speaker volume across three levels. Check the display for incoming caller ID, date/time, and call duration as needed. Use the redial/Bis function to quickly call the last dialed number.
For full caller ID and message-waiting functionality, ensure your telecom subscription includes these services. Keep the unit connected to the telephone line for continuous line-powered operation; avoid disconnecting the line to maintain access to call logs and last-number redial.
