Mount or place the outdoor sensor in a suitable exterior location protected from direct heavy precipitation and extreme sunlight to ensure accurate ambient readings. Set the current time and configure the alarm function using the physical control buttons located on the device. Allow the unit a short period to synchronize and display current indoor and outdoor temperature readings.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify whether you require additional weather metrics such as humidity or barometric pressure before purchasing
• Confirm that standard AA batteries are available for initial operation
• Check the intended placement location to ensure it meets the wireless transmission range between the sensor and main unit

For optimal performance, position the outdoor sensor out of direct sunlight and rain, and replace all batteries simultaneously with fresh ones when the low battery indicator appears.
