Alkotest T32 alcohol sensor adapter T-32, plastic trident fitting, Ø32 mm
Alkotest T32 is a T-32 plastic trident fitting designed for breath alcohol testing systems. It provides a three-way connection with 32 mm diameter ports to route airflow between a sensor, tubing and a mouthpiece or sampling lines. The adapter is made of molded plastic for lightweight installation and compact integration in analytical setups where splitting or joining a 32 mm air path is required.
The Alkotest T32 adapter offers a compact and lightweight solution that simplifies ducting of air in breath alcohol measurement devices. Its three-way design enables easy redirection of airflow without the need for additional couplers. The uniform Ø32 mm ports ensure consistent internal diameter across connections, reducing turbulence and minimizing leak points. Constructed from durable plastic, the fitting resists corrosion and is suitable for repeated installation and removal during maintenance.
Install the Alkotest T32 by pushing the corresponding Ø32 mm tubing or components firmly onto each port until a secure fit is achieved. Ensure that the connected tubing and sensor ports are clean and free of obstructions before assembly. For a tight mechanical seal, use appropriate clamps or retaining rings if the installation environment subjects the connections to vibration or movement. When disassembling, detach tubing by releasing any clamps first and gently pulling each connection off to avoid damage to the ports.
Use the adapter in systems compatible with 32 mm internal diameter components. Avoid exposing the plastic fitting to direct flame or aggressive solvents. Periodically inspect the ports for wear, cracks or deformation and replace the adaptor if any damage is observed to maintain reliable airflow and measurement accuracy.
