Built-in Cooker Hood Amica OSC5212B, Aluminium Filter, Noise Level: E
Built-in Cooker Hood Amica OSC5212B, Aluminium Filter, Noise Level: E
The Amica OSC5212B built-in cooker hood is designed for kitchens where compact dimensions and effective air extraction are required. With a maximum extraction power of 171 m³/h and recirculating extraction type, this black built-in hood removes cooking vapours and odours while fitting flush into cabinetry. The unit is controlled via a slider and uses an aluminium grease filter with two layers to capture grease particles. Integrated LED lighting provides focused illumination of the hob while keeping energy consumption low; the hood’s annual energy consumption is 41.7 kWh with an overall energy efficiency class of C.
The Amica OSC5212B offers efficient extraction in a compact built-in format, combining a two-layer aluminium grease filter and slider control for intuitive operation. LED lighting supplies steady, long-lasting illumination with minimal power draw. The unit’s moderate connected load of 89 W and a recirculating extraction option make it suitable for installations without a dedicated external duct while maintaining acceptable fluid dynamic performance.
Install the Amica OSC5212B into a compatible cabinet opening following the manufacturer’s installation instructions and ensure the cabinet depth accommodates the 470 mm unit. Choose recirculation mode if external ducting is not available, and fit a charcoal filter according to local guidelines if required for internal air cleaning. Operate the hood using the slider to select the desired extraction level; switch on the LED light to illuminate the cooking surface. Replace or clean the aluminium grease filter regularly to maintain extraction performance and hygiene.
Clean the aluminium grease filter every 1–2 months depending on cooking frequency; hand wash or use a gentle dishwasher programme if the filter design allows. For optimal air removal and reduced noise, run the hood a few minutes before and after cooking. If using recirculation, replace the charcoal filter according to the charcoal filter manufacturer’s schedule to preserve odour removal efficiency.

Rating of how efficiently a device uses energy, affecting power consumption and costs.
Not only energy saving helps to protect the environment but also noise level reduction. Noise level reduction up to 3 dB really means noise level reduction in 2 times. For example, a device with noise level 39 dB (А) will be two times quieter than a devise with a noise level 42 dB (А). Energy-saving certificate that shows noise level plays the role of an additional objective indicator basing on which You can successfully choose a product.
