Abrasive Non-Woven Flap Disc Andre 125 mm Very Fine (mpn 810126)
Abrasive Non-Woven Flap Disc Andre 125 mm Very Fine (mpn 810126)
Andre abrasive non-woven flap disc, 125 mm diameter, very fine grade. This disc is designed for surface finishing, blending, deburring and light polishing on metal and other materials. The non-woven construction offers a consistent, uniform finish while reducing heat build-up during use and adapting to contours and curved surfaces. Compatible with standard angle grinders and suitable for both workshop and light industrial applications where a fine surface result is required.
The non-woven fibre structure provides long-lasting performance and even abrasive action without aggressive stock removal. The very fine grade yields a smooth, satin finish and minimizes scratch patterns. Reduced heat generation helps protect the workpiece and extends the life of the disc. The flexible construction follows irregular shapes and edges, enabling controlled blending and final polishing in one operation.
Mount the disc on a compatible angle grinder according to the grinder manufacturer's instructions and ensure the correct safety guard is in place. Operate the grinder at the recommended speed for 125 mm discs and apply light, even pressure while moving the disc across the workpiece. Use steady overlapping passes to achieve a uniform finish and avoid staying in one spot to reduce heat accumulation. Replace the disc if the non-woven material becomes excessively worn or clogged.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, gloves and hearing protection. For best results, test on a scrap piece to confirm finish and pressure before working on the main component. Avoid excessive pressure and high speeds on thin sections to prevent distortion; use gradual, controlled strokes for consistent results.
