Flap Disc Andre 125 mm P80, model 810246, ECO LINE (Ø125mm, grit P80)
Flap Disc Andre 125 mm P80, ECO LINE is an abrasive flap disc designed for use with angle grinders to perform material removal, blending, deburring and surface preparation on metal and similar substrates. With a 125 mm diameter and P80 abrasive grit, this disposable flap disc balances moderate stock removal with surface finishing, making it suitable for fabrication, repair and maintenance tasks where consistent abrasive performance is required.
The flap design provides multiple overlapping abrasive flaps that wear evenly, maintaining a consistent contact profile and reducing the tendency to gouge. P80 grit offers a medium-coarse cut suitable for both removing weld seams and smoothing edges. The ECO LINE construction focuses on cost-effective, single-shift or occasional use while still delivering predictable abrasive action and stable performance on ferrous and similar materials.
Mount the flap disc on a compatible 125 mm angle grinder according to the grinder manufacturer’s instructions and verify proper fastening before operation. Use appropriate rotational speed as recommended for 125 mm discs and apply light to moderate pressure, keeping the disc flat or at a slight angle to the workpiece depending on whether the task is stock removal or finishing. Do not force the disc; allow the abrasive flaps to wear progressively. Replace the disc when cutting efficiency declines or if any damage to the backing or flaps is observed.
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, gloves, hearing protection and respiratory protection when needed. Secure the workpiece and maintain steady movement to avoid overheating and uneven wear. For the best balance of material removal and surface quality, start with P80 for weld blending and switch to finer grit discs for final finishing if required.
