Rechargeable C-size Lithium-Ion Battery ANSMANN 1313-0004 (C, Li-Ion)
ANSMANN 1313-0004 is a rechargeable C-size battery using Lithium‑Ion (Li‑Ion) technology. It is designed as a drop-in replacement for devices that require C cells and provides a constant 1.5 V output for the majority of its discharge cycle. The cell integrates protection electronics that prevent overcharging, overloading, short circuits and deep discharge, improving operational safety and extending service life. The battery is supplied in retail box packaging and is suitable for repeated charging cycles and long-term use where C-format Li‑Ion cells are supported.
The integrated safety electronics protect the cell against incorrect handling and electrical faults, which reduces the risk of damage and prolongs overall durability. Compared to disposable alkaline cells and some NiMH rechargeables, this 1.5 V Li‑Ion C battery maintains a near-constant voltage for approximately 95% of operating time, helping devices such as torches, toys and small appliances keep stable performance. The cell is rated for up to 1200 charge cycles, has low self-discharge, and operates across a wide temperature range from −20 °C to +60 °C. A built-in USB‑C charging port and included cable allow simple charging without an external charger, and a status LED on the positive terminal indicates charging progress.
Insert the ANSMANN C Li‑Ion battery into the device following the device polarity markings. To recharge, connect the included USB‑C cable to the battery’s charging port and a USB power source (computer, power bank, USB wall charger or vehicle USB outlet). During charging the LED at the positive terminal will flash; it will light steadily when charging is complete. If the battery reaches a low residual capacity, the output voltage is reduced to around 1.1 V to indicate replacement or recharge is needed. Store batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use and avoid exposing them to prolonged high temperatures.
For reliable long-term performance, use the built-in USB‑C charging with certified USB power sources, avoid deep discharge whenever possible, and replace both cells in multi-cell devices at the same time if capacities differ significantly. Do not expose the battery to direct flames, disassembly, or non-approved chargers.
