Rechargeable D size battery ANSMANN 1314-0005 (Li‑Ion) – D, Lithium‑Ion
ANSMANN 1314-0005 is a rechargeable D-size battery using Lithium‑Ion (Li‑Ion) technology designed as a direct replacement for standard D cells. The cell delivers a nominal voltage of 1.5 V and a rated capacity of 6000 mAh (12 Wh), combines low weight with low self-discharge and is supplied in blister packaging. Built-in electronics protect against overcharging, overloading, short circuits and deep discharge, while an integrated USB‑C charging port and included cable allow convenient charging without a separate charger. The battery is suitable for devices that expect the voltage and dimensions of conventional D cells and offers long cycle life and stable output under a wide temperature range.
The integrated electronics maintain a constant output voltage of 1.5 V for most of the discharge cycle and reduce voltage to about 1.1 V only when the remaining capacity is very low, providing predictable device behaviour. The built-in protections reduce the risk of damage from incorrect handling and extend service life. USB‑C charging with an included cable allows charging from laptops, power banks, USB wall chargers or vehicle USB outlets, and the positive-terminal indicator shows charging state. Compared with disposable alkaline cells, the Li‑Ion chemistry offers better performance at low temperatures, lower self-discharge and the ability to be reused for many cycles.
Insert the ANSMANN D Li‑Ion battery into the device following the device polarity markings. To charge, connect the supplied USB‑C cable to the battery's integrated port and to a suitable USB power source. The indicator at the positive terminal flashes during charging and lights steadily when charging is complete. When the battery's voltage falls to the low-level threshold, the output will drop to around 1.1 V to indicate replacement is required. Observe device manufacturer instructions for battery installation and removal.
Charge batteries before first use and avoid exposing them to extreme heat. Use compatible USB power sources that meet standard USB safety requirements. Store batteries in a cool, dry place and avoid prolonged storage at high temperatures. Replace the battery if physical damage or persistent performance loss occurs. Do not attempt to open or modify the battery.
