The ANSMANN Li-Ion Akku 18650 is a rechargeable 3.6 V lithium-ion cell with a compact cylindrical format (approx. 18 x 70 mm). It includes an integrated safety circuit that protects the cell against overload, short circuit and deep discharge. Compared with conventional NiMH batteries, the Li‑Ion chemistry provides higher energy density and a better power-to-weight ratio. The battery is suitable for modern high-drain devices and operates across a wide temperature range.

The built-in safety board prevents misuse by guarding against overcharge, short circuit and deep discharge, contributing to longer service life. Li‑Ion technology delivers roughly double the energy density of NiMH cells of the same size, while keeping weight low. The ANSMANN 18650 offers low self-discharge and high cycle stability — it can be recharged up to 2000 times under demanding conditions.
