Ansmann 1600-0439 is an under-cabinet SMD LED module designed for discreet task lighting under cabinets, shelves or inside display furniture. The single LED module is housed in a slim white ABS/PC enclosure measuring 350×35×15 mm and can be powered by battery or DC. The module combines a motion (PIR) sensor and a twilight sensor so the light activates only when movement is detected and ambient light is low. Colour temperature can be adjusted across several presets and a continuous dimming function lets you set intermediate brightness levels. The unit mounts with a magnetic strip and adhesive tape for quick installation and can be removed easily for recharging via the supplied USB cable.

How to use

Mount the module on a clean, dry surface using the adhesive tape or attach it to a metal surface with the integrated magnetic strip. Position the sensor to cover the area where motion detection is desired and ensure the twilight sensor faces ambient light. Press the control button to cycle through the colour temperature presets or hold the button to dim continuously. The PIR sensor will switch the lamp on for approximately 25 seconds after detecting movement; this period extends with each new detection. Remove the module from its magnetic mount for charging and connect the supplied USB cable to recharge the internal battery.

Usage recommendations

Install the module where the PIR sensor has an unobstructed view of the target area and avoid mounting inside very bright locations if you want automatic activation at low light levels. For reliable adhesion, clean the mounting surface before applying the tape. Recharge the battery when LED output noticeably decreases to ensure consistent operation.
