Coin Cell Tester Ansmann 1900-0035
The ANSMANN Coin Cell Tester 1900-0035 is a compact handheld device for checking the remaining capacity of coin cells, including CR1620. It supports both Alkaline and Lithium coin cells and measures the battery under load to provide a realistic indication of usability. The tester is battery-powered and small enough to carry in a pocket, enabling quick checks before inserting cells into devices.
The tester automatically detects the cell voltage and indicates remaining charge with a row of five coloured LEDs. It works with Alkaline and Lithium coin cells and shows the measured capacity under load, so you can determine whether a cell can still be used or needs replacement. Its compact dimensions (approx. 55 mm × 45 mm × 13.5 mm) and lightweight design make it portable and easy to operate with a single hand.
Place a coin cell on the contact area of the tester and ensure correct polarity alignment. The tester will automatically detect the cell voltage and apply a load; the remaining capacity is then shown by the LEDs (green, orange or red). Interpret the LED indication to decide whether the cell still has sufficient capacity or should be replaced. Replace the internal CR1620 if the tester does not power on.
Use the tester before installing coin cells in critical devices and store replacement batteries in a dry, cool place. Dispose of depleted cells according to local battery recycling rules.
