TPU Filament AnyCubic Milky White 1 kg — Flexible 3D Printing Material
AnyCubic TPU Filament in milky white is a 1 kg spool of flexible thermoplastic polyurethane designed for FDM/FFF 3D printers. The material combines a rubber-like soft feel with high tensile strength and abrasion resistance, making it suitable for parts that must bend, absorb impact, or resist wear while retaining shape and color over time.
The filament provides high elongation at break and good tear resistance, allowing prints to stretch and return without damage. Its wear- and oil-resistant properties support long-term use in functional parts, while dedicated printing profiles reduce common TPU issues such as stringing. Pre-drying is recommended to avoid bubbles and ensure consistent extrusion.
This TPU may not be appropriate when rigid, highly dimensional parts are required, since its softness and high elongation make it unsuitable for structural components that must maintain exact tolerances under load. It is also less suitable for printers that cannot reliably handle flexible filaments; such machines may suffer from feeding issues or inconsistent extrusion.
Load the filament on a printer configured for flexible materials and use a direct or well-tuned Bowden setup that minimizes filament buckling. Set the hotend temperature within the recommended 195–230 °C range and the build plate to 50–60 °C. Use lower retraction distances and tailored print profiles to reduce stringing. Pre-dry the filament if it has absorbed moisture and follow a gentle cooling strategy to preserve layer adhesion and surface finish.
For best results, use a printer with a reliable filament path, apply manufacturer-recommended TPU profiles, pre-dry the spool at 70–80 °C for about 8 hours if necessary, and print at moderate speeds to balance surface quality and dimensional stability.
