How to use

Locate the square hole in the rack rail where a threaded mounting point is required. Compress the cage slightly if needed, align the cage nut wings with the hole and push until the retention spring snaps into place, capturing the nut inside the rail. Insert an M5 screw through the equipment mounting ear or rail and thread into the captive nut, tightening to the appropriate torque specified by the mounted device manufacturer. To remove, back out the screw and carefully pry the cage edge to release the retention spring and extract the nut.
