How to use

Remove the protective cap from the electrodes and press the meter’s electrodes firmly against the surface of the wooden element to be measured. Select the appropriate wood range for the species being tested to ensure percentage readings reference that group. Read the moisture value on the LCD; use the HOLD function to freeze the display if you need to record the reading. After use, replace the protective cap and switch off the device or let the automatic power-off engage to save battery.

Usage recommendations

For reliable results, measure on clean, flat, uncoated wood surfaces and take several readings in different locations to account for local variation. Allow newly installed or exposed timber to acclimatize before final checks. Keep electrodes clean and store the meter with the protective cap in place. Replace the 9 V battery when the low-battery indicator appears to maintain measurement accuracy.
