Universal filter cartridge for Aquaphor water jugs and Brita (Classic) jugs. Removes virtually all harmful impurities from tap water and improves its colour, taste and odour. Replacement cartridge fits jugs from leading German, US and UK manufacturers as well as Aquaphor models. Filter life — 170 litres.

Advantages

The cartridge reduces sediment (rust, sand, mud, pollen), residual chlorine and organic chlorine compounds, heavy metals such as iron, lead, mercury, copper and aluminium, petrochemicals, phenols, certain pharmaceuticals including hormones and antibiotics, and large bacteria. It uses Aqualen patented ion-exchange fiber combined with coconut-shell activated carbon and silver ions for enhanced purification and bacteriostatic protection. One cartridge treats up to 170 litres of water, typically about twice the capacity of similar replacement cartridges.

How to use

Install the cartridge into a compatible water jug according to the jug manufacturer’s instructions. Rinse the cartridge briefly with cold water before first use if recommended by the jug guide. Fill the jug and allow water to pass through the cartridge; discard the first litre if advised by the manufacturer. Replace the cartridge after treating approximately 170 litres or when flow rate or water quality noticeably decline.
