Steam mop AquaWave ILAMOS JR by AquaWave — electric floor steamer for cleaning and sanitizing hard floors
The AquaWave ILAMOS JR steam mop is an electric floor steamer designed to clean and sanitize hard floor surfaces using high-temperature steam. It provides a chemical-free cleaning method that loosens dirt, dissolves grease and reduces bacteria on tile, sealed wood, laminate and vinyl floors. The unit is compact and engineered for everyday home maintenance, quick spot cleaning and light deep-clean sessions without the need for detergents.
The AquaWave ILAMOS JR offers fast heat-up and continuous steam delivery for uninterrupted cleaning cycles. Its lightweight and compact form factor makes it easy to manoeuvre and store in small homes or apartments. The steam-based cleaning reduces reliance on chemical cleaners and can help sanitize floors while removing grime and sticky residues. Designed for straightforward operation, the mop has simple controls and a washable microfiber pad for reusable floor contact.
The steam mop is not suitable for unsealed or untreated wood floors, as moisture and heat can damage the surface or cause warping. It is also not recommended for delicate natural stone that may be sensitive to heat or rapid temperature changes. For very heavy soiling that requires scrubbing or for floors with loose grout or damaged seals, a different cleaning approach may be necessary.
Fill the water tank according to the maximum fill line, attach a clean microfiber pad and allow the unit to reach operating temperature before use. Glide the steam mop slowly over the floor surface, allowing steam to loosen dirt and stains; for stubborn spots, hold the head over the area briefly or repeat passes. After cleaning, switch off and unplug the appliance, allow it to cool before removing and washing the pad and emptying any remaining water from the tank. Follow manufacturer guidance for maintenance and safe storage.
Use distilled or demineralized water if your tap water is hard to reduce mineral deposits. Test a small inconspicuous area first on sensitive floors and avoid prolonged steaming of the same spot on wooden surfaces. Regularly wash or replace the microfiber pad to maintain cleaning performance.
