Adjustable pipe-style wheel wrench Art-Pol model 10055 is a compact manual tool designed for removing and tightening wheel nuts in 17 x 19 mm sizes. Its adjustable tube construction allows extending the lever for extra torque and collapsing for compact storage, making it suitable for passenger vehicle wheel maintenance and emergency roadside use. The tool is intended for occasional garage tasks, tyre changes and as part of a vehicle toolkit.
Advantages
The wrench combines a two-size socket head (17 mm and 19 mm) in one pipe-style body, reducing the need to carry multiple wrenches. Its extendable tube design increases leverage, helping to loosen tight wheel nuts with less physical effort. The compact, practical construction is easy to store in a car trunk or toolbox, and the simple, robust design is suitable for routine use under varied conditions.
Suitable for
- Changing wheels and tyres on passenger cars
- Emergency roadside roadside repairs and flat tyre replacement
- Use in home garages and small workshops
- Storage in vehicle tool kits for occasional use
Key specifications
- Socket sizes: 17 mm and 19 mm
- Adjustable/extendable pipe-type handle for increased leverage
- Intended use: manual wheel nut removal and tightening for passenger vehicles
- Compact design for trunk or toolbox storage
- Material: durable metal construction suitable for mechanical hand use
How to use
Position the appropriate socket end (17 mm or 19 mm) onto the wheel nut and ensure a secure fit before applying force. If extra leverage is required, extend the tube handle to lengthen the lever arm, then turn the wrench counterclockwise to loosen or clockwise to tighten the nut. Apply steady, controlled force to avoid rounding the nut corners. After use, retract the tube if extended and store the wrench in the vehicle trunk or toolbox.
Usage recommendations
Before use, inspect the wrench for visible damage and ensure the socket fits the wheel nut precisely. Use the tool on correctly sized nuts only and avoid excessive impact force that could damage the tool or the nut. For safety, apply wheel chocks and follow manufacturer torque specifications when tightening wheel nuts; use a calibrated torque wrench to complete final tightening.
