Concrete drill bit Art-Pol SDS+ 32 mm, model 48332
The Art-Pol SDS+ 32 mm concrete drill bit (model 48332) is engineered for rotary-percussion drilling in concrete, masonry and natural stone. Its 32 mm diameter makes it suitable for creating anchor holes, through-holes and other structural fixings. The bit features a tungsten carbide tip and a spiral flute profile that work together to maintain cutting performance and accelerate dust and chip evacuation when used with SDS+ rotary hammer drills.
The carbide tip provides high wear resistance and maintains drilling accuracy in abrasive materials. The spiral flute efficiently transports dust and debris out of the hole, reducing friction and heat build-up during continuous drilling. Compatibility with SDS+ chucks ensures secure bit retention and smooth power transfer from most standard rotary hammer drills designed for masonry work.
Install the bit firmly into the SDS+ chuck of a compatible rotary hammer drill. Select the hammer-drilling mode and apply steady axial pressure; avoid excessive lateral forces that can damage the tip. Begin drilling at low speed to establish the hole, then proceed with consistent forward pressure and the drill’s hammer action to penetrate concrete or masonry. Withdraw the bit occasionally when drilling deep holes to clear accumulated dust and assist the flute in evacuating debris.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, dust mask and hearing protection. For reinforced concrete, monitor drilling conditions and use water only if the drill and bit are specified for wet use. Replace the bit when cutting performance noticeably decreases or the carbide tip is damaged.
