Art-Pol Thread Tap Set M4.5 x 0.50 mm, 2-piece is a compact tapping set designed for cutting or forming internal metric threads with a 4.5 mm nominal diameter and 0.50 mm pitch. The set contains two taps that cover the standard sequence for creating accurate M4.5 threads in metal and other machinable materials, suitable for workshop, maintenance and repair environments where metric fasteners are used.
The two-piece configuration provides the sequence needed to produce clean, consistent internal threads while reducing the risk of tap breakage. For hardened or difficult materials consider incremental drilling or using specialized taps. Store the taps in a dry place to prevent corrosion and inspect them before use.
