Drill bit Art-Pol SDS+ 10 mm AR48310 for concrete
Drill bit Art-Pol SDS+ 10 mm AR48310 for concrete
Art-Pol SDS+ 10 mm drill bit AR48310 is designed for drilling into concrete and masonry with SDS+ rotary hammers. The 10 mm diameter carbide-tipped flute and reinforced shaft provide efficient percussive drilling for anchor holes, conduit installation and general construction tasks. Compatible with SDS+ chucks, the bit offers steady penetration and chip removal for repeatable hole quality in hard substrates.
The carbide tip maintains cutting performance and wear resistance under impact drilling conditions, while the SDS+ shank ensures secure tool engagement and fast bit changes. The flute geometry supports effective dust and rubble removal during drilling, reducing binding and heat buildup. The compact 10 mm size is versatile for anchors, dowels and small-diameter conduits in concrete and masonry.
Select an SDS+ rotary hammer with appropriate power and set it to hammer-drill mode. Mark the drilling point and, if required, use a center punch or pilot mark for accuracy. Secure the workpiece or use proper positioning, then insert the SDS+ shank fully into the tool chuck until locked. Start drilling at low speed to establish the hole, then apply steady pressure and allow the hammer action to advance the bit without forcing. Withdraw occasionally to clear debris if drilling deep holes. After use, clean the flute and tip of dust before storage.
For longer bit life and consistent performance, use the bit at the recommended tool settings, avoid excessive side loading, and ensure the rotary hammer is suitable for 10 mm SDS+ accessories. When drilling reinforced concrete, proceed with reduced feed pressure and monitor wear of the carbide tip. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye protection, dust mask and hearing protection) and follow site safety practices.
