Product information

Description

The Power Cable as-Schwabe 60362 Black 25 m is a heavy-duty extension lead designed to deliver mains power over longer distances. This 25-metre cable is fitted with two Type F (Schuko) plugs and is rated for 230 V and 16 A, providing a reliable connection for a wide range of electrical devices. The black jacket and robust construction make the cable suitable for repeated indoor and outdoor use where a durable, long-length power connection is required.

Advantages

The cable’s 25 m length reduces the need for multiple shorter leads and connectors, simplifying installation and reducing potential points of failure. A 16 A current rating and 230 V compatibility meet common European mains standards, enabling safe operation of many household and workshop appliances. The Schuko-type plugs ensure secure grounding and reliable contact, while the durable outer sheath resists mechanical wear and typical environmental exposure when used outdoors under normal conditions.

Suitable for

  • Powering outdoor equipment such as lawn mowers, pressure washers, and lighting
  • Providing temporary power on construction sites and in workshops
  • Extending mains power to distant outlets for household appliances and tools
  • Events and gatherings where longer flexible power distribution is required

Key specifications

  • Cable length: 25 m
  • Connector type: Type F (Schuko) – two plugs
  • Rated voltage: 230 V
  • Rated current: 16 A
  • Colour: Black
  • Designed for indoor and outdoor use under normal conditions

How to use

Unroll the cable completely before connecting to avoid heat buildup and to ensure safe operation. Connect one Type F plug to a properly grounded mains socket and the other plug to the device or distribution point requiring power. Avoid running the cable across sharp edges or high-traffic walkways without protection; use cable protectors or route the cable to minimise tripping hazards. Inspect connectors and the jacket for damage before each use and do not use the cable if any part is compromised.

Usage recommendations

For safety and longevity, store the cable coiled and protected from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use. Use a residual current device (RCD) or circuit breaker where appropriate, and avoid continuous operation near the rated current for extended periods. If the cable is used outdoors, protect connectors from moisture and clean them before storage.
