The ATEN SN3401 Secure Device Server provides 16 serial ports to connect RS-232/422/485 devices to an Ethernet network, enabling remote access and management from any computer on the network. Designed for industrial and IT environments, the SN3401 translates data bi-directionally between serial and Ethernet formats and supports integration of serial devices into Modbus TCP networks.

Advantages

The SN3401 offers secure TCP and serial tunneling modes, Real COM support and console management to meet security-sensitive requirements. With native Modbus gateway functionality it converts between Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU/ASCII, allowing seamless integration of serial slave devices into an IP-based control system.
