Camera lens circular polarising filter Avenger MFESSCPL-55 55 mm, black
The Avenger MFESSCPL-55 is a circular polarising filter with a 55 mm filter thread designed for DSLR and mirrorless camera lenses. It reduces reflections and glare from non-metallic surfaces, enhances color saturation and contrast, and improves sky rendering for landscape, outdoor and architectural photography. The filter comes as a single-piece pack in a black finish and is intended to be mounted on lenses with a 55 mm thread size.
This circular polarising filter decreases unwanted reflections on water, glass and other reflective surfaces while preserving image sharpness and tonal balance. It increases color saturation and contrast for more defined skies and richer foliage tones. The construction includes protective coatings that improve resistance to water, scratches and oil, helping to maintain optical performance and simplify cleaning. The filter transmits a majority of incident light while applying polarisation effects to improve overall picture quality.
Screw the Avenger MFESSCPL-55 onto the front of any lens with a 55 mm filter thread. Compose and focus the scene first, then rotate the outer ring of the polariser while observing the viewfinder or LCD until reflections are reduced and the desired sky or color saturation is achieved. If using a wide-angle lens, be careful with extreme rotation as uneven polarisation may occur across the frame. Remove the filter when no longer needed or when shooting in low light to avoid unnecessary light loss.
For best results, use the polariser when the sun is at a 90-degree angle to your shooting direction to maximize sky darkening and color saturation. Keep the filter clean and dry; follow standard lens-care procedures to maintain coatings and optical quality.
