The AWENTA WWD100 Disk bathroom ventilator is a compact inline fan with a 100 mm inlet diameter designed to provide reliable ventilation for bathrooms, toilets and small utility rooms. With a nominal airflow of 60 m³/h and low power consumption of 8 W at 230 V, this unit removes excess moisture and odours while maintaining energy-efficient operation. The Disk design combines axial and centrifugal flow characteristics to fit wall or duct installations, and the fan is suitable for continuous or intermittent use.
The ventilator offers a balance of airflow and quiet operation with an efficient motor that minimises energy use. Its compact dimensions and 100 mm connection make it compatible with common domestic duct systems and wall fittings. Construction allows installation in-line within a ventilation duct or directly in a wall aperture, providing flexibility for retrofits and new builds. The unit is suitable for continuous operation, supporting controlled moisture reduction to reduce condensation and mildew risk.
Install the fan in a 100 mm duct or wall opening according to local electrical and building regulations. Connect to a 230 V supply, ensuring correct wiring and use of a circuit protected by appropriate overcurrent and residual-current devices. For intermittent use, control the unit with a light switch or a dedicated fan switch; for continuous ventilation, supply power through a timer or permanent feed. Ensure the outlet duct is routed to an external terminal and that any backdraft shutters or grills are fitted to prevent reverse airflow.
Position the ventilator to minimise long duct runs and sharp bends to maintain rated airflow. Periodically inspect and clean the impeller and housing to remove dust and buildup, and check electrical connections annually. Where condensation is frequent, consider continuous low-speed operation to reduce moisture accumulation.
