Drill Bit SDS‑Plus AWTools 14 x 310 mm QUADRO XTREME BLACK LINE
Drill Bit SDS‑Plus AWTools 14 x 310 mm QUADRO XTREME BLACK LINE
AWTools Drill Bit SDS‑Plus QUADRO XTREME BLACK LINE 14 x 310 mm is a rotary hammer drill bit designed for drilling into concrete, masonry and natural stone using SDS‑Plus chucks. With a 14 mm diameter and a 310 mm overall length, this bit provides reach for deeper holes and general construction tasks. The QUADRO XTREME cutting geometry and reinforced shank are intended to deliver consistent drilling performance for both professional tradespeople and DIY users who require reliable masonry drilling.
The QUADRO XTREME BLACK LINE bit combines a robust carbide tip with a geometry optimised for fast dust removal and stable drilling direction, which helps reduce bit walking and improves hole accuracy. The SDS‑Plus shank ensures secure retention in compatible rotary hammers and facilitates quick bit changes. The 310 mm overall length allows for deeper penetration while maintaining rigidity needed for controlled drilling.
Insert the SDS‑Plus shank into the rotary hammer chuck until it locks, ensuring the tool is switched off and unplugged or the battery is removed before changing bits. Select an appropriate drilling mode (hammer drilling) and start at low speed to establish the hole, then increase speed and maintain steady pressure without forcing the bit. Periodically withdraw the bit to remove dust and allow cooling when drilling deep holes. After use, clean the bit and store it in a dry place to prevent corrosion.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, hearing protection and dust mask when drilling. For reinforced concrete, use a smaller pilot hole if required and check for embedded rebar; when encountering rebar, switch to a suitable metal drill or cutting method. Match bit diameter to anchor or fixture requirements and avoid excessive axial force to prolong bit life.
