Pliers AWTools AW16630 — 560 g hand plier tool
The AWTools AW16630 — 560 g hand plier tool is a compact, forged CrV steel plier designed for gripping, bending and cutting operations in maintenance, electrical and DIY tasks. The tool integrates hardened jaws and a two-component non-slip handle to provide controlled leverage and firm grip when installing or removing circlips and clamping small or narrow components. Supplied in a roll-up pouch, this plier is intended for workshop use, household repairs and professional service jobs where precision and durability are needed.
Forged and hardened chrome-vanadium (CrV) steel ensures resistance to wear and reliable mechanical strength for repeated use. The two-component non-slip handle improves handling comfort and reduces slippage during forceful operations. Narrow, precisely finished jaws make it easier to access confined spaces and to clamp small elements securely. The included roll-up pouch provides organized storage and protects the plier when transported or not in use.
Hold the AWTools AW16630 plier by the non-slip handle and position the narrow jaws around the circlip or small element to be clamped. Apply steady pressure to close the jaws while maintaining alignment with the workpiece to avoid slippage. For circlip removal, engage the tips into the circlip holes or grooves and gently expand or compress as required, then withdraw the circlip. After use, wipe the plier clean, inspect the jaws for wear and return it to the roll-up pouch to protect the tool and surrounding items.
Use appropriate eye protection when working with circlips or spring-loaded components. Do not use the plier on live electrical conductors without proper insulation. Keep the tool dry and lightly oil pivot points occasionally to maintain smooth action and prolong service life.
