Floodlight AWTools AW17906 — compact LED floodlight, weight 420 g
AWTools AW17906 is a compact LED floodlight designed for focused outdoor and indoor illumination. The unit weighs 420 g and combines a slim die-cast aluminium housing with a powder-coated finish and a clear tempered glass lens to deliver directional, high-intensity light in a small form factor. The floodlight integrates energy-efficient SMD LED technology with motion detection and an adjustable dusk-to-dawn sensor, making it suitable for temporary or fixed installation on walls or stands where reliable, compact lighting is required.
The aluminium die-cast frame with powder coating provides corrosion resistance and mechanical strength while keeping the unit lightweight and portable. SMD LED technology offers high luminous efficacy and lower power consumption compared with traditional lamps. The built-in PIR motion sensor enables automatic activation when movement is detected, and the adjustable dusk-to-dawn sensor allows the lamp to operate only in low-light conditions. The clear tempered glass lens ensures stable light output and increased durability in outdoor environments.
Mount the floodlight on a stable surface using the supplied wall bracket or place it on a compatible stand. Aim the lamp to cover the intended area and tighten the bracket to fix the beam direction. Connect the unit to a suitable power supply following local electrical codes and ensure the electrical connection is performed by a qualified person. Adjust the dusk-to-dawn sensor to set the ambient light threshold and configure the PIR motion sensor sensitivity or timeout where applicable. After installation, test the motion activation and the automatic night operation to confirm correct positioning and settings.
For reliable performance, install the floodlight at a height and angle that avoids direct activation by small animals or passing traffic if undesired. Use a protected cable conduit and weatherproof connections for outdoor installations, and periodically check the mounting hardware and glass lens for dirt or damage to maintain optimal light output and sensor function.
